Harem System: Spending Money On Women For 100% Rebate!

Chapter 37: An Unexpected Friend.

She passed out on his bed and Kyle wanted to go out but he couldn't wake her.

That would be somewhat inssitive, wouldn't it?

Kyle decided to write a note before exiting the house, he knew there was nothing worth stealing and why steal wh he had already demonstrated the ability to take care of her needs?

Kyle hopped into his car and got a call from Nate.

He remembered the task he had giv Nate but it was a bit too early for him to have carried it out.

"Hello Nate, what's up?" Kyle had no qualms about starting the conversation.

[[Hey man, I'm all done, where do I keep the extra keys?]]

Nate questioned, Kyle could tell he was out of breath but this meant that he carried out the task without any delay.

He has tak Nate out of a job but knows that Nate should be able to get another as he could use the advantage granted by his ges.

However, Kyle knew he was a good person and that he would need people a him if he planned to reach the goal he had planned to achieve.

"Where are you right now?" Kyle asked.

[[I'm at 4th Street… You know what, let me share my location.]] Nate knew this would make it easier for Kyle to track him. Kyle's phone soon beeped prompting him to glance at his phone before bringing it back to his ear.

"Alright, see you soon," Nate responded from the other d of the phone.

Kyle drove to the location, arriving only a few minutes later but what he saw surprised him.

Nate hadn't tak a single thing for himself, he had tak everything from the store and gone to an area well known for harbouring homeless people to distribute the goods.

Kyle had stopped by the road, parking his car a couple of paces away to not draw atttion to himself, just out of sight.

He knew approaching Nate by foot was the best course of action, Nate saw him and immediately waved.

Kyle was older than him by a few years but Nate was a person that had earned his respect.

"What are you doing here?" Kyle questioned him as he saw a queue, it was funny seeing homeless people more well-behaved than those who supposedly were more civilized.

This could have easily be Kyle, realizing how lucky he was to have Mr. Jones.

"I know you told me to take it to charity but I have volunteered in some and I will tell you for a fact that they are not as honest as you think," Nate said but this was the same in most organizations.

They td to take certain things for themselves and th share what they don't want with those that it was originally intded for.

Kyle didn't need an explanation but he was beginning to understand Nate a lot better.

"So you decided to take it upon yourself to do the extra work?" Kyle questioned.

"Haha! It is just a few hours of my time to make their year, I think the trade-off is fair," Nate responded and this brought a warm smile to Kyle's face.

Kyle stood beside him, this took Nate off guard as he expected Kyle to postpone their discussion until he was done with this.

Kyle instead chose to join him in distributing the items, he had nothing else to do and this was a great way to pass the time.

It took a few hours to attd to everyone, he made sure they all got something.

They thanked them with tears in their eyes and Kyle got a grim reminder of what reality was for those without money.

They wt to a nearby restaurant to eat and rehydrate themselves, it wasn't on the expsive side but they were known for their burgers, it was one of a kind.

"Hey man, I want to thank you for helping me out back there," Nate said, taking a gigantic bite from the burger right in front of him.

"I should be the one thanking you, you didn't need to go out of your way to do that," Kyle said but Nate quickly downplayed his praise.

"I don't know man but ever since I was a kid, I always promised myself to leave my mark on this world ev if it is just a small act of kindness. Play it forward so the universe because we don't know if we will find ourselves in that position tomorrow," Nate said while chewing.

Kyle was curious how someone like this grew to possess such a mindset, his agemates were usually tak by parties, drugs, or girls but he was here giving a Jad Smith-type speech.

Kyle had no interest in this conversation because this was how the world worked but he was certain at that momt that Nate was the right person to keep a him.

He didn't have any frids and having a person with a good moral compass should help keep him ged.

Money changes people or so they say and Kyle was about to test out that theory with himself because this was just the tip of the iceberg.

They ed up their dinner and Kyle handled the bills, much to Nate's delight.

"Thank you so much for today Kyle, I might be out of a job but I have gained a frid," Nate was grateful, he didn't hesitate to show that gratitude.

"Such a cliche line…" Kyle thought to himself but he knew he had to give a verbal response.

"It is fine, it is fine and you might not be out of a job just yet," Kyle informed him.

"Huh?" Nate thought to himself but Kyle realized what he wanted to do with the building he had just bought.
