Chapter 69: Guardians of the Sea of Stars: Asuras and Emperors Clash. Unleashing the Epochal Laws of Chaos in the Boundless Celestial Expanse. Huo Yue's Care: Shūjie is Not So Innocent.
Two colossal Asuras, each dwarfing entire star systems, stood guard over the boundless sea of stars. Their ethereal presence emanated power, their immense forms shrouded in cosmic energy. With eyes resembling swirling nebulae, these six-armed beings watched over the esoteric cultivation secrets hidden within this spiritual world outside any conceivable reality.
Amidst these cosmic giants, Yang Wei\'s diminutive figure stood.
A lesser-being in the realm of celestial titans; one would think.
Looking around, Yang Wei muttered, "This place... where is it?"
What just happened? I know my soul doesn\'t have the usual layers of protection, but even a 2nd Path Cultivator like Mu Lingxi couldn\'t cause it much harm. The martial world is on another page of existence—how is it possible that I\'ve never sensed this before? What is this place?!
Suddenly, a deep, powerful voice resonated through the cosmic expanse, commanding, "Come! Come to me!" The force behind the voice hit Yang Wei\'s soul, its intensity challenging even the layers of magic protecting his spiritual core. Squeezing his eyes, Yang Wei attempted to discern the origin of the voice, but it seemed to permeate every inch of the transcendent realm.
"What is this?!" he said.
Finally, the colossal Asuras standing guard sensed his presence.
Immediately, the two moved their arms, waving their hands and displacing stars, snuffing out some in the process, aiming straight for Yang Wei.
Yang Wei\'s eyes widened.
Are they attacking?!
He quickly formed gentle, stream-like motions with his arms.
I can\'t afford to hold back here. I\'ll use my Full Body Chaos Emperor Manifestation!
Two gigantic humanoid avatars appeared on both sides of him – a burning red one on his left and a burning green one on his right. These avatars were as big, if not bigger, than the Asuras present.
Not enough!
Yang Wei then placed his palms together, summoning a furiously burning golden avatar behind him, slightly larger than the Asuras and his other two manifestations. It had a big white halo on its back and three faces – the face of rage on the left, the face of peace on the right, and the face of indifference in the middle.
As the Asuras closed in on Yang Wei to snuff out his spiritual existence, their hands were immediately eviscerated by the presence of his three avatars, causing the Asuras to seize their motion.
This is the power of these three avatars.
They embodied the Three Epochal Laws of Chaos.
In cultivation, there is the Dao.
And in magic, there is the Epochal Law.
It governs the fundamental forces shaping the fabric of existence. It is the metaphysical framework that practitioners of magic tap into for any and everything!
Presently, Yang Wei had summoned three of his Epochal Laws.
The red avatar is the Scarlet Emperor, the Epochal Law of Physical Entropy.
The green avatar is the Jade Emperor, the Epochal Law of Spiritual Dissolution.
And lastly, the most potent and perilous of the three, is the Golden Emperor, the Epochal Law of Total Annihilation.
At the time, there was only one thing on Yang Wei\'s mind.
I\'ll destroy everything in this world, and that includes the Dao itself that allows it to exist. There\'s something about this place that isn\'t acceptable!
However, just as he was about to erase this boundless sea of stars, he heard that voice again.
"Come, my child," it said. "Come, Son of Magic!"
These words instantly made Yang Wei hesitate.
...
"Brother Wei!"
"Brother Wei!!"
Yang Wei jolted awake, his breath heavy as he gasped for air. Sweat drenched him, and a noticeable rise in temperature lingered.
Wu Fengtian and Huo Yue were the first faces he registered.
With relief, Huo Yue exclaimed, "Thank goodness, you\'re finally awake," her initial worry replaced by a sense of calm.
"Wait... Why am I here?" Yang Wei attempted to rise.
But, Huo Yue gently restrained him. "No, don\'t stress yourself."
Coughing slightly, Yang Wei remained lying down.
Huo Yue, caring and attentive, soaked a towel in cold water, dabbing his forehead and wiping away the sweat.
Yang Wei asked, "Fengtian, weren\'t we at the temple?"
"Well, we were... You know, we planned to meet at the main temple, but you disappeared. I searched everywhere for you and eventually found you unconscious near the inner sanctum. I had to bring you back to the sect. I got a bit scared, thinking you might freeze in the intense cold of the Hēi Lóng Mountains since your body heat was gone."
Yet, Wu Fengtian sacrificed his fire spiritual Qi cloak so that Yang Wei would have two protecting his body. After that, he cranked up his own body heat via spiritual energy to make it through the journey.
"It almost felt like you were dead..." he added.
Perplexed, Yang Wei retorted, "Dead? What do you mean, dead?"
"I couldn\'t sense any spiritual energy in your body. It was like your spirit root went dormant, just like a lifeless corpse waiting to rot."
"Enough of that, Feng\'er, go fetch the food I prepared!" Huo Yue intervened.
"Yes, Shijie!"
Some minutes passed...
Yang Wei was now seated before a table covered with a plethora of nutritious dishes – rice porridge, herbal tonic soup, dumplings, seafood, stir-fried mushrooms, lotus root elixir, dragon fruit salad, sesame ginger tofu, and more.
Surprised by the abundance, Yang Wei looked at Huo Yue.
"You... made all of this?" he asked.
Giggling, she responded, "Of course, if I don\'t take care of you, who will~~?"
"Thank you, Senior Sister." Yang Wei smiled at her.
Huo Yue, gently using chopsticks to offer him a dumpling after softly blowing on it, teased, "Can\'t you call me something a little more romantic~?"
Yang Wei stroked his chin, considering Huo Yue\'s proposition with a thoughtful "Hmm, I\'ll think about it."
Again, Huo Yue giggled sweetly. "I hope it\'s something good," she closed her eyes and smiled with a cute and subtle tilt of her head.
She\'s so a perfect woman indeed... Yang Wei thought.
Playfully, she dangled a dumpling in front of him using chopsticks. "Alright, close your eyes and open wide~"
"Is that really... necessary?"
Huo Yue frowned, and pushed her displeased face close to his. "Yes!" she grumbled.
He silently complied by closing his eyes and slightly parting his lips.
Instead of delivering the dumpling, Huo Yue dropped it back into the bowl and seized the opportunity to kiss him. Their tongues intertwined passionately, lips pressed together.
"Hm?" Yang Wei was fairly surprised.
He sensually rubbed her waist with his strong hands, and Huo Yue settled better onto his crotch, her curvy ass finding a comfortable spot. As their kisses heated up, her hips pressed sensually against the hardness of his meaty rod, creating a tantalizing connection. His shaft slipped into the groove between the soft, ample cheeks of her enticing buttocks.
Nestled there, it easily allowed his rod to gently slide back and forth through the tight ridge of her bulging butt.
After a lingering kiss, they separated, leaving a faint thread of saliva connecting their mouths.
"That\'s good, your mouth feels warm again~" Huo Yue commented with satisfaction.
She remained seated on his crotch, her shapely thighs on either side of him.
Yang Wei, reaching in, wiped off a strand of saliva from her chin with his thumb.
However, Huo Yue held his wrist and guided his hand before her lips. "Please, what you did with Fengtian, can you promise that won\'t happen again?" she requested.
"Well, I wasn\'t just careful last time. If it ever happens again…"
"Promise me!" Huo Yue interjected.
It caught Yang Wei off guard a bit. "Al... alright, I promise. It won\'t happen again."
With relief, she accepted his promise. "Good."
Huo Yue gently took his thumb into her mouth, delicately swirling her tongue around it. The wet, *slurp slurp* sounds added an alluring touch, making it more sexually intimate than even their earlier kiss. As if sexually addicted, Huo Yue fervently sucked on his thumb—like she wanted to drink some hidden pleasure out of it.
After the indulgence, she withdrew, leaving Yang Wei\'s thumb covered with her warm, sticky saliva.
Yang Wei looked at her in surprise.
Blushing, Huo Yue turned away, embarrassed, saying, "D... Don\'t look at me like that."
His Shūjie wasn\'t as innocent as he thought.
