Chapter 173 Choice of Transformation
Chapter 173 Choice of Transformation
Just like how he knew Transforming his Skin would give him Vibration and Organs would give him the ability to absorb Stamina. He quickly came to a decision.
Bones would be a really good addition. He had enough Dao Crystals to immediately finish his Transformation but at the same time, one thing made him hesitate. He just couldn't go on to choose the option due to one significant thing. Should he do it?
There was no room for hesitation in this world, but he hesitated.
In totality, it was believed and known that there were "300" Magic Powers in each normal Dao and "3000" Normal Daos under all Seven Great Daos.
So, if he could cultivate and use enough crystals to use every Magic Power among the 300 under the Lust Dao, ten times each, and turn all of them into his Talents, would he then come to own the entire Dao?
Which would better help him through this current predicament—either escaping or going through other ways—was it a better body or the complete ownership over the Dao of Lust?
Would he become stronger than if he used the [3121 Crystals] in his hand for something else? He just needed a thousand for the current Transformation, but he wouldn't be able to gain all three hundred Magic Powers as his Talents. Sweat beaded on his forehead.
The choice was vital. What would give him more power quickly? Nôv(el)B\\jnn
One was unknown, and one was known. A long minute passed. The room was silent, his mother's breaths were calm. Night had fallen now, so the room was soon in a dead silence. Hesitation. No matter how experienced one got, who can say proudly that they wouldn't ever hesitate?
With one deep sigh, Han Li closed his eyes. There was no need to hesitate. His eyes snapped open, and he skipped to a particular page.
"Attain bones similar to mine by cultivating this method to perfection—Bone forging."
When in need, relying on luck had never been his style. What if gaining all 300 Abilities was not good but instead something bad? What if that would cause him to—atleast temporarily—lose all his powers? Even thinking of it had been a wrong move. His palm moved, and he tore the silk-like paper containing the Bone Forging methods. He scrunched the paper up into a ball and to the size of his palm. The paper vanished from his hand. His consciousness flowed into the Empty Space. His Minor Dao Soul of Lust was, as usual, bright and semi-transparent. In the dark world, it stood calmly, faintly glowing organs visible under its semi-transparent Skin. It was growing more stable by the day, almost like a red version of himself.
All around, there were specks of bright crystals present, some red in color while some transparent. He chanted an ancient verse in the Bone Forging paper. It was a long and complicated verse. A spell of sorts.
The crumpled paper moved into the Minor Dao Soul and soon began to morph amidst the organs, slowly moving itself into the position of the bones. The spine, the ribs, the every other bone. The bone marrow running inside the bone to the outer layers of the bone was like iron bars tightly wrapping around his insides. It connected to the organs, to the skin, to everything. It was like a boneless, essence-less thing was suddenly puffed by air. His Dao Soul became substantially more solid and almost moved out of its semi-transparent mode. Almost.
Then, with a startle, he opened his eyes to the real world and bent over on the bed. His nerves grew taut. They bulged. His face grew ashen. First Transformations were always painful, but bones, especially, were a hurdle unlike any other. Time passed, and pain filled him to his core. In prior Transformations, tearing the skin away for a new one wasn't that hard. Organs changing, he had ended up unconscious. Yet, the Spine changing and skeleton changing was the worse, and his head spun, and his gaze darkened right after the pain passed. With a blurry gaze, he fell on the bed.
…
It only took half an hour for Han Li to return to himself. He took weak breaths and sat up from the bed, sweaty. He was stinking, too—adventures in the wild for more than three days wouldn't be easy to wash off with five minutes in a pond. He was stinking badly. Yet, who cared for smell?
There had been a time when he hadn't washed for 17 years straight. This was nothing in comparison. He took deep breaths, focused on his hand, and used Life Vision. His eyes spun slightly from the lingering nausea. _
[Lifespan: 420 Years]
[Minor Lust Dao Crystals: 121]
[Neutral Dao Crystals: 3000]

[Body: Above Average Evolved Physique]

With calm eyes, he used all 121 Lust Dao Crystals inside him on the Dao Soul—on the Bones for exact—and the completion process rose. [Bone Forging: 12% Completion]
With calmness, he used 879 of the Neutral Dao Crystals, and the process was complete.
[Bone Forging: 99%]
[Bone Forging: 100%]
His skin reddened slightly as an influx of energy coursed through his bones. His whole body felt a sort of warmth and relaxation. His broken shoulder bone and rib had already been fixed, but the flesh in his shoulder was still mangled, and it was a hindering thing. Yet, he calmly closed his eyes. He seemed to shine in an ethereal red light for a second. His everything slowly ascended. [Han Li] [Age: 18]
From cell to bone to organs to other parts, as a virtuous cycle, he became stronger. With a deep growl that echoed across the room, mist seemed to escape his mouth as he clenched his hand. Air blasted out of his palm in a sort of explosion.
For the first time since he had regressed, he felt slightly, ever so slightly, strong. A chuckle escaped him as he once again used his Life Vision.

[Han Li] [Age: 18]
[Lifespan: 420 Years]
[Minor Lust Dao Crystals: 0]
[Neutral Dao Crystals: 2121]
[Talent: Sacred]
[Current Cultivation: Evolution Stage]
[Body: High-Tier Evolved Physique]
[Skin Building Completed—Tempered Skin—Vibrating Skin]
[Organ Strengthening Completed—Healthy Organs—Vitality Channeling] [Bone Forging Completed—Forged Bones—Fused Blade]
—
His Body had become High-Tier from Above Average. That was his base stats. His bones had been tempered to a limit. His bones were now similar to those of the Sacred Demon. The mighty and perfect creatures born in the Seven Continents.
One had to know that even Sacred Talent Transformation Type Cultivators would only have [High Tier Evolved Physiques] without Transforming into their Beast Form. When they Transform, they would become Top Tier in all categories of the body. Surpassing the Top Tier in some of them, like Nu Kai, surpassed the Top Tier in the Speed department.
Han Li surpassed Top Tier in Endurance. His Stamina and Defense were on a level of their own. His Strength was also faintly above the Top Tier now. His Speed was still barely touching the mark for High, but if he used his Magic Power—Elusive Movement—that would become Top Tier. The only thing he lacked was rejuvenation.
In simpler words, he was already Top-tier in everything except Speed and Rejuvenation for an Evolution Stage Cultivator. He even surpassed the top tier in endurance, strength, and stamina. Yet, in the regeneration department, he was just High-Tier.
Yes, his body did have above-decent regenerative powers now, but that wasn't something that would help him in a fight. He could heal big wounds in hours or something, but that was useless. The Sacred Talented Transformation Cultivators were all like that. Only when they transformed into their Beast forms would they be able to have top-tier instant healing prowess. He lamented slightly at the sole remaining weakness of himself that was so glaring.
Even though Lust Dao was a Dao under the Great Dao of Life, it lacked a decent regeneration Magic Power when he was not in a bed having sex. So it was natural he lacked an option there. He sighed.
Atleast, he was far stronger now. He looked out through the windows. There should still be about two hours remaining, at the very least, before Li Shuanwei returns. And he was also not supposed to be in the city when the Heaven Rising began. So he will have to continue with his plan—A plan which, if successful, would let him stay in the city and maybe even get rid of the threat from the bud—or, if it didn't work within an hour, run.
