Chapter 21: Materialization of Art!
BOOM!
The group behind the back of the robust man couldn't help but reveal a grave expression upon seeing that the blade didn't hit anything.
Did he run off?
The robust man mumbled in a low voice as he surveyed the surroundings for any kind of anomaly. After waiting for 5 minutes, the robust man was about to lower his guard when suddenly...
Slash!
On the back of his group, a sharp dagger shockingly materializes into thin air, quickly heading toward the neck of a young woman.
Surprise, the woman showed a horror expression in her eyes as she didn't have time to evade the fast-approaching dagger.
Ding!
However, before the sharp blade slashed the young woman's neck a thin barrier suddenly appeared, blocking the blade from the other party.
Mana Bullet!
Bang!
Bang!
Not giving the other party a chance, upon seeing that he finally appeared, a tall man with thick brows pointed his pointed finger toward the Shadow Assassin, shooting a consecutive mana bullet.
The Shadow Assassin squinted his eyes, seeing that his attack failed he quickly turned into a shadow before vanishing in the group's line of sight, successfully evading the approaching mana bullet in the process.
Boom!
"I didn't expect that you have a Rare Class job. If you just told me earlier then we would not have needed to fight." The arrogant voice of the Shadow Assasin echoed in the silent forest, quickly entering the senses of the robust man.
Frowning deeply, the group scanned the surrounding trees in an attempt to find the origin of the voice. Unfortunately, after craning their neck, they didn't find the Shadow Assassin.
After another few seconds of waiting, the voice of the Shadow Assassin again echoed in the silent forest.
"Since you have strength... Nah, never mind. If your destination is the front... then beware of Soul Eating Crows. That is all." With a weak swoosh, the forest in front of the group silently stirred as the presence of the Shadow Assassin vanished.
...
"Soul Eating Crow... I see." The robust man as if thinking of something, mumbled in a low voice, his face showing a delighted expression.
After minutes of pondering, the robust man raised his head before commanding his group to move forward... toward the front.
Since there are Soul Eating Crows in the front. Then the chances of finding survivors would drastically increase.

Leo opened his eyes after a long rest, finally feeling refreshed and recovered.
Closing slightly his eyes, the image and memories earlier quickly played inside his head. The danger and the risk of almost being dead flashed inside his head.
Sigh.
If not for the timely appearance of the zombies I would probably be dead right now.
Shaking his head, Leo stretched his soul body/smoke for a couple of minutes before passing through the solid wall beside him, quickly emerging from the familiar silent road.
Did I get left behind again?
Leo quickly thought as he warily glanced toward the sky, seeing that there were no bastard birds (Soul Eating Crows) above him, Leo secretly sighed in relief as he began moving forward.
I better quickly catch up, if not, then another bastard bird probably will appear!
Sigh...
However, before Leo could move from his current position, in the building in front of him a little head suddenly poked out from the hole in the wall, quickly scanning the surroundings area.
Seeing that there was no one in the surrounding area, the child seemingly 10-12 years old dusted off the dust on his blue robe as he quickly stepped outside from the hole of the building.
Again seeing that there was no one in the surrounding area, the child hurriedly opened his little backpack on his back and immediately took out a biscuit and shoved it to his little mouth...
"Nom...nom..."
"Thi...this!' Leo's eyes quickly widened as he scanned the child on the ground, his mind quickly processing the thing he was currently seeing.
"Am... Am I still dreaming?"
Couldn't believe of what he was seeing, Leo wiped his imaginary eyes as he looked at the information that was floating above the child.
Ding!
[ Human Child - Level 18! ]
"A human being! Finally Hahahaha!" Leo smiled in relief inside his head upon getting the confirmation that the child in the distance was a human being.
A real living human being!
Feeling that the weight on his heart was finally lifted. Leo planned to approach the child in the distance but suddenly stopped mid-air and hesitated.
Right, I don't have a physical body. If I suddenly appeared in front of the child with my soul body, he would probably shout and attack me!
Shaking his head, feeling aggrieved, Leo decided to watch the child for now.
...
After stuffing another biscuit into his mouth, the child dusted his hands as he took out a white chalk from the void.
Ssss..
Getting the white chalk in his hand, the child again looks at the surroundings warily. Upon seeing no one, the child bends slightly and begins drawing on the wall beside him.
What!
Leo who was watching meters away couldn't help but exclaim.
Where is your mother? How could you draw in this dangerous place? Besides, that is clearly vandalism!
Leo thought angrily, trying to fight the urge to appear beside the child and scold him. Knowing that it was not good to appear, Leo took a deep breath to calm his imaginary nerves down as he decided to see what the child doing.
After seriously vandali... drawing on the wall for a couple of minutes, the child finally put down the white chalk as he dusted his little hands.
Smiling lightly, feeling satisfied with his work, the child raises his two hands towards his drawing and mumbles in a low cute innocent voice.
"Materialization of Art!"
Swish! Swish!
Just after mumbling those words, the hand of the child releases a weak blue light toward the wall, causing the drawing to light up as well.
The drawing of the child quickly detached from the wall as it quickly swelled up and gained a physical body...
