Chapter 676 Johanna(1)

Johanna couldn’t take her eyes off the specialty section on the screen. It was the first time she had come across the said section even though she had read details of more than ten cultivation arts.

What made Johanna shell-shocked was none other than the success rate of the ascendance of the cultivation art. It was also the first time she had heard of a cultivation art offering such success rates.

If ascendance were easy, the number of Immortals in the Primal dimension would have dimmed while the number of newly ascended divine beings in the Sacred dimension would have increased.

Even Johanna, who was confident of her talent, wasn’t sure whether she would be able to ascend or not in her life. But here, there was a cultivation art that offered a ninety-nine percent success rate..

Even though there was still a one percent chance of failure, it wasn’t any less, as even a slight chance of failure distracts the cultivator. And yet, Johanna’s heart wanted to buy the cultivation art. She would believe in the ninety-nine percent success rate rather than the one percent failure rate.

The thought of starting over took the house in Johanna’s mind as she couldn’t forget it even if she tried hard. No matter what excuses she thought of not letting her urge to buy the cultivation art win, in the end, she would come to the beginning when she suddenly thought of the idea.

‘Should I give it a try?’ Johanna asked herself in her heart.

The urges that came from deep within her heart were hers and not others, so there was no point in thinking that it was a mental demon.

Johanna still couldn’t be sure, so she picked out another cultivation art from the shelf while having the Art of Doom in her other hand.

As Johanna had thought, she felt nothing of the such sort when she looked at the newer cultivation art in her hand.

Miraculously, the newer cultivation art also had a specialty section attached to it. Its success rate was twelve percent, which Johanna didn’t think much of, but if someone other Immortal were to read the details, they would have lost their composure.

A cultivation art offering even a success rate of five percent was a big deal, let alone twelve, or the Art of Doom offering an outrageous ninety-nine percent.

Johanna didn’t feel any urge to leave her current cultivation art and buy it, so she put it back on the shelf. She was now confident that it was her gut feeling working overdrive to let her buy the Art of the Doom.

Time flew by.

After standing in a dilemma for a few minutes, Johanna’s mental barrier finally gave up, and Johanna gave in to her gut feeling.

The next moment,  she couldn’t help but feel relieved. Since it came straight from her heart, Johanna had never felt so comfortable.

Since Johanna had now accepted to buy the Art of the Doom, she also agreed to start over. The cultivation art would only provide her its full benefits if she were cultivating that art from the beginning.

Now that she had made her decision, she didn’t waste any more time. The more time she passed without buying, the more doubts would start rising in her mind, forcing her not to be sure of taking the decision.

Johanna was aware of the preview option since she had spent some Primal stones on a few cultivation arts that she earlier liked but couldn’t gather enough courage to replace it with the current one she owned.

Johanna thought of buying the preview option, but then she thought of another thing and decided to go ahead with the next thought.

Johanna still had the cultivation art in her hands as she took a step forward and stopped when she was standing in front of the first shelf, signifying the Mortal grade cultivation arts.

As soon as she threw her hands in to search for the mortal grade version of the Art of the Doom, a new blue window appeared in front of her.

The blue window asked a simple question, whether Johanna wanted to buy all the five grades of the Art of the Doom.

Johanna tapped yes since she was going to do that, and now it had made her task simple.

The next moment, four pages materialized out of nowhere in her hands. A blue screen containing the details of the cultivation art was attached to each page.

Johanna’s eyes fell on the mortal grade Art of the Doom. The next moment, she thought of buying the preview option.

Not long after, a virtual book appeared next to Johanna, containing the details of the cultivation art.

Johanna had thought of such since it would save her a million supreme Primal stones if she were to buy the preview option of the Mortal grade Art of the Doom. That amount was enough for Johanna to buy the first three grades of the cultivation art, saving some money for her.

Without wasting any time, Johanna opened the virtual book and began reading the published content on it.

As Johanna read more and more, the doubts that had started rising in her mind due to wanting to start over for just a cultivation art automatically died down. Now Johanna was sure of buying the Art of the Doom. In fact, she had never felt more confident of anything else with such intensity.

Johanna then read all the blue screens since she wanted to calculate the prices. In the end, when she had the total cost of all the five cultivation art in her mind, she couldn’t help but become dumbfounded.

The total price was way more than her net worth. It was going to be difficult for Johanna to buy all five of them at once. If she were to buy four of them and leave the Immortal grade Art of the Doom, the problem would get solved.

Johanna then suddenly had the inspiration of how she could buy all five cultivation arts at once.
