Chapter 672 Return(End)
The seventeen were part of a single family and the result of an experiment that had happened several millennia ago.
In the experiment, a crazy being used a hundred eggs to procreate using only a single sperm.
For some reason, the experiment partially succeeded. Out of the hundred, seventeen embryos took place, carrying a life without any defect. Three more had succeeded in turning into an embryo, but those had exploded right after, resulting in the destruction of twenty more eggs, which still weren’t sure of succeeding or failing.
Even though the experiment partially succeeded, none of the seventeen surviving embryos contained any semblance of their father. In fact, they gained everything from their mothers.
The being didn’t take it as a success but as a failed experiment since the child didn’t contain the bloodline of the father. The creator of the sperm was a King and couldn’t have any children due to a curse on him.
The creator of the experiment knew that the curse had affected his work and hence the lack of the King’s bloodline in them, but if the King were to know of this, the experiment creator knew that he would either cruelly die or would face torture until he lived..
He knew that he wasn’t wrong, but the King had invested a lot of Soul stones and other valuable materials into the experiment after the experiment-creator had himself told the King about it. He gave the King the hope of having his own children with his bloodline, so the creator didn’t want to see what would happen to him after he broke that hope.
The experiment-creator had no interest in dying or facing torture, so he carried those seventeen unborn embryos and escaped the Kingdom.
Unfortunately for the experiment-creator, his running from the King didn’t help. His terrible fortune helped him die a cruel death in the teeth of a beast even mightier than the King. As for why the level 400+ creature appeared there, the man would never be able to know.
The experiment-creator had given two-thirds of his life to the experiment, and couldn’t see anything happen to the unborn embryos, so he had left them in a safe place where they would be secure. When he died, he had a relieved smile, knowing that his life work was safe.
Fast forward to today. The experiment-creator had thought wrong about the King. When he found out after the partial success of the experiment, the King had become happier than ever at that time.
The King had already lost hope of having children, so when he had them, he didn’t care even if they received everything from their mother and not him. It was enough for him to know that his sperm did the job of giving life to them.
After knowing about the man leaving with his unborn children, the King announced a hunt with more than fifty percent of the army searching for the experiment creator.
The lord’s uncle was also one of the soldiers that went in search of the unborn embryos. To find the children, the King had given a device that contained the bloodlines of all his hundred wives since the King didn’t know which seventeen’s wife’s eggs had succeeded in fusing with his sperm.
The only reason the lord’s uncle found out about the seventeen people since he still had the device with him. The device was in a deactivated mode earlier. But as the uncle was putting some of the materials he had gained from the war here in his space ring, he instinctively activated the device, resulting in him finding the seventeen princes of a Kingdom.
Even the lord of the Phoenix settlement couldn’t help but drool, imagining the rewards his uncle would get from the King for finding his lost children.
After the event came to an end, a new blue window had appeared in front of Aakesh.
The blue window contained three choices for the rewards Aakesh could get from the event.
All the three rewards were worthwhile, but Aakesh found the first option more likable since it awarded enough XP for Aakesh to increase his level by two.
Aakesh didn’t have to think much before choosing the reward, and soon he gained two levels, becoming a Level 239 being.
Aakesh could feel an illusion of him being an omnipotent creature, but since Aakesh was aware of it being an illusion, he snapped his fingers and came out of it.
“Status,” Aakesh muttered as he returned to his room to prepare for the quest.
The next moment, a blue screen with golden fonts appeared in front of him, containing all his details.
Personal Status:
Name: Aakesh,

Aakesh looked at his status after a long time. He couldn’t help but nod, seeing the increase in his attributes. The last time he had checked his status was when he was Level 229. It was only a level 10 difference, but it had taken Aakesh several months to increase his level by ten.
After Aakesh became a legendary lifeform, every increase in level gave twenty physical attributes. He also gained three hundred energy and HP units with every increment. Aakesh now had stats with more than three thousand agility and strength, while energy and HP exceeded the mark of 50,000.
Aakesh then waved his hands since there was nothing more left to see for him in the status. The next moment, light particles started moving away from the screen, and in no time, it disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to call it back.
There was still some time left before sunrise on the Anga continent, the courtesy of three times the time flow rate, so Aakesh decided to attempt to select some candidates from the current lot in the settlement.
Time flew by, and the sunrise finally arrived on the Anga continent.
